Hey all. I’m Caitlin Casiello. I am working on a masters program focusing on Japanese media. I focus on sexuality and gender in manga, especially pornographic manga at the moment.

The mission statement of this blog is “whatever I feel like writing about (in longer and more permanent form than on my tumblr)”. That means most posts will be about girls, about geeky stuff, and about media. I’m still in the process of building up this blog presence~, so let me know if there’s a topic you’d particularly like to hear my POV on and maybe I’ll write about it.

I also post weird panels I find in the course of my adventures in discovering American comics on my CAITLIN READS COMICS tumblr which has more pictures and more swearing than this blog.
